Frequently Asked Questions

When can I change my benefits?

You can change elections during open enrollment or within 30 days of a qualifying life event (marriage, birth, adoption, loss of other coverage, etc.).

Do I need to change my primary care physician?

Members on the Kaiser HMO will most likely need to select a new Kaiser primary care doctor. Dual Choice members may be able to keep their current provider by confirming participation through the First Choice Health Provider Search tool.

Where can I find my ID cards?

Most carriers provide digital ID cards in their mobile apps and member portals. Physical cards may also be mailed to your home.

Who do I call about a claim issue?

Start with the carrier’s member services. If you need additional help, contact the broker helpdesk or HR.

What if I miss open enrollment?

Because this is an active enrollment, coverage does not roll over. Missing the deadline means you’ll be without elections until next year unless you have a qualifying life event (marriage, birth, loss of coverage, etc.) within 30 days.

How do I submit FSA or HSA claims?

Log into the WEX Health portal to upload documentation, view balances, or manage your debit card. Need a hand? Email customerservice@wexhealth.com or call (866) 451-3399.
